reoccuring Events

We have multiple reoccurring events at the Elks Lodge on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.

Each week we host a Thursday Night Corn Hole Tournament. It starts at 6:45PM and concludes with a cash winner every week. The restaurant and bar are also open for a delicious dinner and refreshing beverages.

Every month, our lodge hosts special dinners. The 2nd Tuesday of the month, Dustin Basquez, the chairman of our Elks National Foundation Committee (ENF), hosts a Calf Fries and Smoked Wings Dinner to support the ENF. For every dollar our lodge donates to the ENF foundation, the ENF returns $1.32 to our community in the form of scholarships and grants. The Past Exalted Rulers Committee (PER), hosts their dinners most months on the last Tuesday of the month. Each month features a different delicacy and dessert. The PERs support local scholarships and grants for our youth and veterans.

Annually, we host an August Golf Tournament and a November Sporting Clays Tournament. Our golf tournament, currently organized by Bubba Bozka, is in its 44th year. Independence Golf Course, right here in Gonzales, is the venue it’s held at every year since its inception. It sells out every year, so if you want to participate, contact Bubba on July 5th. The Sporting Clays Tournament, organized by Carlos Camarillo, is entering its 3rd year. It takes place at Moyesway Shooting Sports in Kingsbury the first Saturday before Thanksgiving each year. If you are interested in participating, call Moyesway Shooting Sports or Carlos Camarillo.
